Jenny Heinzen York Joins Currey & Company as Director of Marketing

Home décor manufacturer Currey & Company has named long-time colleague Jenny Heinzen York as director of marketing.
Heinzen York specializes in bringing buyers and sellers together, utilizing her comprehensive knowledge of home decor retail, interior design and wholesale. Her primary role as the director of marketing will be to work closely with the sales and executive teams to develop a strategic marketing plan that further enhances the company’s brand awareness, as well as growth initiatives across all channels of distribution.
Heinzen York’s career has spanned a progressive series of editorial management roles including 13 years with Home Accents Today, where she served as editor-in-chief for 10 years. Along with managing print and digital content creation, she was a frequent speaker and panelist at markets worldwide, hosted video news and marketing segments, and directed conferences and events.
In 2017, Heizen York joined AmericasMart in Atlanta as vice president of home marketing, where she oversaw new business initiatives, content creation, exhibitor relationships, and daily design strategy at the nation’s largest wholesale marketplace. She led the planning and strategy to grow the daily business at AmericasMart and was the brand spokesperson on more than 50 videos, driving engagement on social media. She was also integral to the launch of the commercial design floor, where Currey Hospitality is currently represented.
