HFB’s Forty Under 40 Deadline One Week Away

The prestigious list, which will be published in the magazine’s July issue, features extraordinary young professionals in the home furnishings industry who already have made significant accomplishments in their businesses and the communities where they do business.

“For six years, we have identified and celebrated the best and brightest young minds in the industry,” said Bob George, editor in chief and publisher of Home Furnishings Business. “The nominations grow each year making the judging process more challenging due to the many talented young people who work in our industry. I encourage the industry to nominate their disruptive changemakers and superstars for this prestigious industry honor.”

The deadline is May 19 at midnight. Nomination forms are available here.

To be considered, nominees must meet the following general criteria:

• Over age 21 and under 40 by Dec. 31, 2019
• A leader within his or her organization
• Have significant career achievements
• Have substantial community involvement outside his or her regular job

The name of the person submitting the nomination will be kept confidential, and self-nominations are accepted. However, duplicate nominations will not improve a candidate’s chances of being selected.

The decision is based solely on the information provided on the nomination form, so please provide detailed information so the nominee can be given full consideration. Do not submit hyperlinks to a nominee’s work credentials or other accomplishments.

If selected, honorees will be required to provide a color photo and complete a brief questionnaire about their career and interests for inclusion in the Forty Under 40 special section of Home Furnishings Business magazine and its website.
