HSM Celebrates Diamond Anniversary

HSM, an integrated manufacturer serving the home furnishings industry, is marking its 75th anniversary by kicking off a series of initiatives.
Two marketing initiatives will be unveiled this month – a logo that touts HSM’s 75 years of commitment to its customers and an anniversary video. The new logo features a stylized black, block type “75” that sits atop and enwraps the company’s corporate logo with the tagline, “Manufacturing Since 1944.”
The celebratory video features interviews with HSM leadership and many longtime company associates. The team discusses changes in the industry over the decades and how the company continues to evolve. Filmed throughout the company’s 30 facilities, the video showcases the industry dedication that is inherent to HSM’s nearly 3,000 company associates.
“This is a very exciting time in our company’s history. Seventy-five years is an incredible milestone, and while we take time to honor our founders and our legacy, we’re keenly focused on reinventing ourselves to provide our partners with the product and manufacturing innovations that they have come to expect from us,” said Mark Jones, president and CEO. “We are changing how we measure results and are adding new leaders from within and outside the industry to help us reach new levels of quality, operational efficiency and customer responsiveness.”
Founded in October 1944 as a manufacturer of springs for the bedding and furniture industries, HSM has branched out beyond home furnishings to become a supplier for the transportation, packaging and healthcare industries.
