The Design Network Greenlights “Design Buzz” Programming, Four Hands to Style Set

The Design Network has greenlit a news magazine show, "Design Buzz," connecting the home design network to the world of celebrity. "We're at the intersection of home design and pop culture, where designers and celebrities are making today's headlines," explains Jason Harris, founder of The Design Network.

"It's a short-form series that looks at the latest design trends featuring top design experts and the Hollywood personalities viewers love," says Gayle Allen, executive producer of Design Buzz. "We're partnering with Jess Ponce III & Shahnti Olcese Brook of Media 2x3 in Los Angeles, with celebrity booking and field production, and Caster Studios in Austin, with in-studio productions, all collectively capturing snackable design stories as they relate to the Hollywood lifestyle.”

Launching May 16, episodes cover Hollywood design news such as a visit to the set of the Big Bang Theory on the eve of its final episode, and talking "Geek Chic" with set designer, Ann Shea. Also, TDN's very own Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia are working together to help make dreams a reality at Habitat for Humanity in Coachella Valley. Plus, we hear about some shenanigans on the set of Get a Room with Carson & Thom.

Design Buzz is hosted and co-produced by Leah Ashley, an interior stylist & DIY expert who gained national attention for her role as a co-host on the ABC Daytime talk show, Fablife, alongside Tyra Banks, Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee and Lauren Makk. Currently, residing in her hometown of Austin, Texas, Leah is also the host and producer of the popular online series, Vintage Style/Modern Life, currently airing on The Design Network.

Executive Producer, Gayle Allen points out, "We're thrilled that the set will be styled and furnished by Four Hands Furniture. Four Hands embraces a blend of influences and imparts a modern sense of style…a perfect complement to the tone of the show."

The Design Network is the fastest growing TV network all about Home, according to the company. Through TDN TV, original programming brings home tours, top trends, and tricks of the trade from interior design stars like Genevieve Gorder, Carson Kressley, Nathan Turner, Kelli Ellis, and Thom Filicia.

Design Buzz combines the Hollywood lifestyle with the niche arena of home design into bite-size entertainment programming. The network is free for viewers and is streaming on http://www.thedesignnetwork.com, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, YouTube, Amazon Prime TV, Facebook Watch, and native iOS and Android apps.
