Smarter Living by Design will include a selection of best-in-class brands spanning home technology categories from premier lighting, sound and appliances to artificial intelligence. The showcase will be coordinated by Dallas-based HomeTronics, a custom electronics integrator and will feature a series of five custom-built lifestyle vignettes including a Family Room, Master Suite, Outdoor Cooking, Outdoor Living, and an Interactive Technology Showcase. Each living space will be updated regularly and serve as a practical demonstration space and design laboratory.
Smarter Living by Design will host special events and seminars to educate and inspire designers and retailers about the basics of smart home technology, to share project ideas, and to hold collaborative sessions on technology subjects that can turn the design community into smart home thought leaders.
HomeTronics will be ready to assist with installation of the products. The showcase has been masterfully designed to integrate products, training, education and related services to support the design and retail community in an unprecedented manner.
“This unparalleled showroom is a groundbreaking effort to meet the progressive needs of interior designers and retailers, both of which are increasingly interested in providing smart home resources for their customers,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Technology is a logical progression from our global leadership in design and lighting, and we welcome the trade to experience the only market center showcase of enhanced living through technology.”
Smarter Living by Design will be open daily inside Light+ Design on Ten in the World Trade Center, space 10085-11. The showroom is fully staffed and able to facilitate ordering of products and installation services.
“We have carefully selected the best brands from around the world for this first-of-its-kind showcase that will attract buyers from across North America.
