LV Market Opens FIRST LOOK Program

Las Vegas Market is now accepting submissions for its FIRST LOOK trend program at Summer 2019 Las Vegas Market, July 28 – Aug. 1, 2019. All Las Vegas Market exhibitors are invited to submit their newest furniture, gift and home décor products by May 15, 2019, for consideration in the FIRST LOOK display, educational seminar and at-Market resource guide.

“Las Vegas Market’s FIRST LOOK program is regarded as a source for product trend and color information and inspiration for furniture, home décor and gift buyers and suppliers,” said Dorothy Belshaw, executive vice president, chief marketing and digital officer for International Market Centers. “Through both exhibits and education, FIRST LOOK showcases the breadth and depth of on-trend product that Las Vegas Market has to offer.”

From exhibitor product submissions, FIRST LOOK curator and 23-year magazine editor Julie Smith Vincenti will identify micro trends related to product form and function as well as color and materials. These trends will be brought to life in dynamic product displays in four Las Vegas Market campus locations, featured in an image-rich publication distributed online and at-Market and detailed in a free, CEU-accredited seminar from 10 -11 a.m. on Monday, July 29.

There will also be a guided home furnishings product tour from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. on Monday and a gift and lifestyle tour from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

To be considered for FIRST LOOK, exhibitors must submit digital imagery (measuring at least 5”x7” at 300 dpi) and a completed product description form by Wednesday, May 15, 2019, to Sandra Talley at stalley@imcenters.com and Julie Smith Vincenti at julie@ninemusesmedia.com.
