HGTV “Home Town” Stars Make Appearance at Belfort Furniture

Belfort Furniture welcomed HGTV personalities, Erin and Ben Napier, to its Dulles, Virginia store on April 27, unveiling the couple’s new Virginia-made home collections.

Hundreds of guests, some waiting almost two hours in line, had the opportunity to meet Erin and Ben Napier, get a copy of the Napier’s book, “Make Something Good Today,” autographed, as well as register for a chance to win furniture giveaways, plus other prizes.

Erin and Ben Napier are the stars of HGTV’s popular show, “Home Town” based in Laurel, Mississippi and are also known for the renovation of their own home in Laurel’s historical district.

The couple made a special guest appearance at Belfort Furniture to introduce their new Laurel Mercantile Home Collection and their solid wood collection, Scotsman American Co. Heirloom. Belfort Furniture is the exclusive area retailer to feature their collections that are made in Virginia in partnership with Vaughan Bassett Furniture.

The collections reflect the Napier’s personal styles and upholds their mission to revitalize small town America by manufacturing the furniture in the U.S.

“This event marks our 32 Anniversary Celebration and we’re excited to host Erin and Ben as they launch their latest collections in our brand-new showroom. The Napier’s show us what beautiful things can happen when the community comes together,” said Michael Huber, CEO, Belfort Furniture.

“Their mission to design and make furniture in the USA, supporting small manufacturing towns is something to applaud. Many of our customers seek out American-made furniture and Belfort is proud to offer the area’s largest selection of US-made furniture,” added Huber.

Erin, a graphic designer, and Ben, a youth minister, each had dreams about running their own businesses, but a home renovation show was never on the Napier’s minds. They were discovered on Instagram and approached by HGTV to consider a show about homes in Laurel, Mississippi. Erin had kept an online journal for years as a way to confront her fears about running her first business, Lucky Luxe, designing wedding invitations printed on handkerchiefs. In the meantime, Ben was busy working on establishing his woodworking business. Their online journal is now a memoir, “Make Something Good Today.” A limited number of books were available through Belfort Furniture. For a $20 donation, customers could reserve a copy of the book to be autographed at the event. All book proceeds will be donated to Loudoun Habit for Humanity.

“At Belfort, we always search for well-made product at great prices. Erin and Ben’s newest collections bring an updated approach to classic styles. Comfortable and casual with a range of finish options to fit any room, these locally made bedrooms and dining rooms will be right at home throughout the DC area,” said Matt Huber, EVP, Belfort Furniture.
