Spring Air Joins Furniture First as Approved Supplier Partner

Mattress producer Spring Air International has joined Furniture First as an Approved Supplier Partner for the national buying group’s 223 retail members. The new partnership opens the door for Spring Air to expand its network to include more independent retailers.
As a Furniture First approved supplier partner, Spring Air joins the organization’s designated home furnishings vendors that the family-owned retailers turn to when merchandising their stores.
“As the leading buying group for independent furniture retailers, Furniture First is a great organization for us to be affiliated with,” said Nick Bates, president of Spring Air International. “Teaming with the group gives us the opportunity to expand Spring Air with creative merchants who are passionate about retail. Our product development team is already working on new designs for the buying group members.”
Furniture First was founded in 1994 by a small group of independent furniture retailers who partnered to compete with national chains by pooling their buying power. Today, the organization boasts 223 members with 495 store locations in 47 states. As a group, members generate more than $2.5 billion in sales.
