Bob Mills Sponsors Relaxation Area for Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon

Attendees will have the opportunity to relax in one of the 10 power recliners, provided by the company, and view a first-person video of the entire 26-mile race course layout.

"The Memorial Mile by Mile Presented by Bob Mills Furniture is a terrific place for runners to relax and experience the course," said Kari Watkins, race director, Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. 

This is the first year the two organizations have collaborated, "We are excited to welcome Bob Mills Furniture as a new OKC Memorial Marathon partner," said Watkins. The Health & Fitness Expo will showcase more than 60 exhibitors featuring a wide array of products and services geared toward runners, walkers and health-minded consumers. 

Bob Mills, president and CEO, is an advocate for sleep health and wants runners to consider the value of a good night's sleep when addressing issues like recovery time and overall health. "Would you run the marathon in shoes that don't fit your feet?" asks Mills, "Of course you wouldn't. So, why would you take a chance sleeping on a mattress that might not be the one for you?"

"I want to wish everyone good luck as they run the marathon!" added Mills. 

The two-day event is located at the Cox Convention Center -1 Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City and is open for free to the general public.
