Mathis Brothers to Open 1st Orange County Location, Spring 2020

Independent furniture retailer Mathis Brothers Furniture is opening a new, 160,000 square foot retail location at The Market Place, an Irvine Company Retail Property in Orange County, California.

Set to open to the public in Spring 2020, the company’s new location will join a best-in-class lineup of furniture retailers, including Ethan Allen, Natuzzi Editions and Thomasville Home Furnishings.

Located on the Irvine side of the 165-acre The Market Place, the new Mathis Brothers Furniture will offer more than 10,000 items across all price points, making it a one-stop shop for all home furnishing needs. Offerings will include furniture for the living room, dining room and bedroom, mattresses, decor and more, from top brand names like La-Z-Boy, Bernhardt, Lexington, Lane, Ashley and Tempur-Pedic.

The showroom will also feature displays of products, as well as an 8,000-square-foot atrium with a vast outdoor furniture selection and a full bar where shoppers can pause to enjoy a complimentary refreshment and relax in the fresh air.

Shoppers at The Market Place can also take advantage of Mathis Brothers’ free expert design services and everyday low-price guarantee on every item. With thousands of in-stock items and a nearby distribution center located in Ontario, California, Orange County residents will have quick and easy access to their purchases.

“As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves in seeking out best-in-class retail locations that are at the heart of communities, and where we’ll be among other premier merchants and restaurants. We get all this and more by joining The Market Place,” said Rit Mathis. “We look forward to providing regulars and destination shoppers alike with a one-stop-shop for all their home furnishing needs – including style, comfort and value.”
