Christopher Guy Closing Trade Showrooms to Focus on Retail Market

Luxury brand Christopher Guy has been actively streamlining its business to focus on branded retail locations in major metropolitan cities across the globe, with the latest New York showcase underlining a greater focus on CG's direct presence. As a result of the brand's retail direction, CG will be closing its Las Vegas and High Point trade showrooms following the April 2019 High Point Market.
The company also announced the opening of an all-new street level showroom on the ground floor of the New York Design Center in late April 2019. Christopher Guy Harrison, Founder and CEO of Christopher Guy said,
"For a brand to remain relevant, there is the constant need to evolve, even more so today as countless online marketplaces open their doors offering lower prices with similar offerings. We are truly grateful to the IMC Markets in Las Vegas and High Point where we have made so many wonderful friends and partners as a result of our showrooms.”
Harrison continued, "I was honored to be allowed to design and build a showroom that has since become an architectural centerpiece of the High Point Market, for which I deeply thank Bob Maricich, Chairman of IMC, for having made it possible. CG is recognized as an esteemed lifestyle brand, and it had become apparent that our customer base demanded our presence in the metropolitan areas, where we are now focused.”
"As shared during Las Vegas Market earlier this year, we have deeply expanded our executive and marketing team as I gradually step back from frequent travel due to my cancer diagnosis and treatment; and our focus in the U.S. will be on our flagship retail showrooms in Los Angeles and New York alongside our very own online CG presence, serving the professional designer and public across the Americas."
Mr. Harrison will be attending the upcoming High Point Market to offer his personal thanks and to say farewell to the many friends and associates he and the company have made through IMC Markets.
