Jaipur Living, Custom Size Rug Program Slashes Lead Times

Rug and home décor supplier Jaipur Living has announced a significant drop in turnaround time for its custom size rug program.
More than 600 unique rugs of exceptional quality can be customized in the Jaipur Living catalog. Some rugs have a turnaround time in as few as three weeks and over 40 rugs have been shortened to less than 13 weeks.
The most dramatic reduction comes in custom larger sizes -- what used to take up to 25 weeks on certain orders can now be processed in nine weeks.
"We expanded our loom base in India and made other upgrades across the supply chain over the past six months to make this happen," said Nitesh Chaudhary, director of innovation, supply chain and technology.
According to a press release issued by the company 40+ rugs are available in 13 weeks or less, 20+ rugs are available in nine weeks or less and 6 rugs are available in three weeks.
