The new silhouettes will be presented throughout three trend-inspired textile stories in the company’s showroom.
From hygge-inspired styles designed for casual and eco-conscious consumers that celebrate all things cozy, to over-the-top maximalist trends from Paris and Milan for the bold consumer who doesn’t like to follow the rules, to wearable performance apparel with low maintenance, Industrial Modern Farmhouse, Maximalism and Performance Textiles and Leathers translate high-style fashion into home décor.
“As a leader in custom fashion upholstery, it’s imperative that we continually evolve our product line and textile assortment to align with the new trends that are born each fashion season,” said Sandi Teague, vp of sales and merchandising for Sam Moore. “Paired with our new chair, sofa and sectional silhouettes, our Spring Market collection offers our retailers and interior design partners many opportunities to present leading-edge style to their customers."
“Throughout the showroom we explore the juxtaposition between minimalist and maximalist consumer styles with an assortment of natural textiles in casual florals, stripes and plaids for the minimalists, while our maximalist presentation provides an adventurous mix of bold colors andpatterns,” she continued. “Tying the two together are a variety of performance textiles, which are now available in a much broader assortment of colors and patterns than ever before.”
Industrial Modern Farmhouse is characterized by stripes, distressed patterns and rugged linens in a palette of warm neutrals, slate blues and straw tones. Accented with industrial elements, this look continues to grow with the Hygge movement which mixes vintage industrial and modern looks with comfortable textures, watercolor prints and soft contemporary lines.
On the other end of the spectrum, Maximalism has mixed prints, vivid colors and a variety of patterns that are inspired by the layered and embellished looks from a variety of popular fashion brands this season. A look that can often be defined as ‘more is more,’ this curated collection features generous patterns, textures and colors with rich, deep designs and motifs that come together to create a bold look. Geometrics sit alongside organic prints and tribal looks, all of which are enhanced by a daring color palette and a dose of velvets, which continue to grow in importance. The color spectrum ranges from sun-kissed hues of Wisteria, Greylac, Clay and Seaglass to saturated colors including Abyss, Raisin, Azure, Loden, and Sinful.
This Market, Sam Moore is set to add 17 new performance fabrics, bringing its total offering to more than 65. In addition, 20 new performance leathers will join the textile lineup. The leather assortment is available in a variety of fashionable colors and rich, supple textures including hand wiped, aniline looks and a few novelty styles.
The new textile stories will be showcased across a variety of new swivel chairs, club chairs, exposed wood chairs, wing chairs, and recliners as well as a new customizable sectional and sofa group with a smaller scale footprint for loft-style living spaces.
Sam Moore’s High Point showroom is located in the IHFC building in space C-1058.
