ART + IDS Conference Announces 2019 Community Service Project

The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission (CVRM) was founded in 1971 and serves as a refuge for the area’s homeless and needy by providing shelter and the necessities to men and women with children. CVRM also provides a gateway program of education and support to help its clients break the cycle of homelessness and joblessness.   

Conference volunteers will provide labor to freshen up the existing family sleeping areas and common rooms and do some outside landscape work. Industry companies will be asked to donate furnishings for installation to enhance the property or to replace damaged goods. Habitat for Humanity is providing the tools and some materials for the project.
