Art Van Taps Jeanette McNamara as SVP of Marketing

Art Van Furniture has promoted Jeanette McNamara to senior vice president of marketing, announced by Ron Boire, president and CEO.
In her new role, McNamara will develop and execute the marketing strategy for Art Van Furniture, Art Van PureSleep, Art Van Outlet and Scott Shuptrine Interiors to create a seamless omni-channel shopping experience across the retailer’s digital platforms and showrooms.
“Jeanette has vast retail merchandise experience and a deep understanding of the Art Van brand as well as our core customers,” said Boire. “She possesses the ideal combination of knowledge, passion, vision and expertise to take our marketing efforts to exciting new levels.”
McNamara will lead the entire Art Van Furniture advertising team and will continue to oversee Scott Shuptrine Interiors. Her promotion is effective immediately and she reports directly to Boire. Prior to her new appointment, McNamara served as vice president of merchandising of AV Home Department and Scott Shuptrine Interiors. She has more than 15 years of experience in the retail industry.
