Six New Tenants to Debut at Main Street Properties, HP Market

Main Street Properties will feature six new tenants, bringing innovative resources and product debuts to the Spring 2019 High Point Market.

Located in the heart of High Point Market, the Main Street Properties – Furniture Plaza, Plaza Suites, National Furniture Mart and 300 S. Main St. – showcase more than 300,000 square feet of home furnishings resources.

“With product designs for every room and every home style, the Main Street Properties are key destinations for home furnishings buyers at High Point Market,” said Scott Eckman, EVP, president of furniture and home décor leasing for International Market Centers. “For Spring Market, these four properties will feature new tenants and returning favorites as well as product introductions and proven bestsellers.”

New tenants in the Main Street Properties for Spring Market include: 300 South Main (patio furniture) and Dallas Leather Works (leather sofas and sectionals) in 300 S. Main St.; Evolur Home (baby-to-adult furniture), Franklin (quality upholstered motion furniture); and Huaian Xinhefeng Furniture Co. (solid wood furniture) in Plaza Suites; and Greentouch Home (high-end furniture) in Furniture Plaza. These new exhibitors join a list of notable lines across the four properties that include: Canadel; Freeline Home; Fusion Furniture; Jackson Furniture/Catnapper; Jofran; KUKA; La-Z-Boy; Mstar; Man Wah Cheers; Motosleep; Powell and Southern Motion.

Franklin, a leading supplier of quality upholstered motion furniture, is relocating and expanding into a showroom in Plaza Suites this spring. The company’s line features recliners, reclining sofas, reclining sectionals, lift chairs and stationary sofas and sectionals. For Spring Market, Franklin will be introducing new collections in their Mark Thomas motion line.

“By doubling the size of our showroom, we will have the ability to show our complete line of motion, stationary, recliners and lift chairs for the first time. We believe the move will allow us to be ideally situated in the marketplace to better serve our expanding account base,” said Hassell Franklin, chairman and CEO for Franklin. “We are looking forward to an exciting 2019 Spring Market as we continue to grow our family-owned company in an ever-changing marketplace.”

Greentouch Home, a newcomer to Furniture Plaza, is a manufacturer of premium Scott Living-branded bath vanities, electric fireplaces, heaters, beverage centers, wine chillers and lighting. Greentouch Home will be showcasing two fireplace/media consoles in Fullerton and Downey at High Point Market. Fullerton features a built-in wireless sound system while Downey features a curved insert and interchangeable wood/glass door panels.

“High Point Market is a great place to get your product in front of important buyers, and by showing here, we hope to bring the success we have had in home centers to the retail furniture industry,” said Jonathan Nussbaum, president of Greentouch Home. “Our licensing partnership with the Scott Brothers has grown immensely over the past three years, and we feel that it has been incredibly successful for Greentouch. By leveraging their design savvy, and Scott Living’s brand power with our seasoned knowledge of the international supply chain, we are able to deliver great looking products that sell through year after year.”

Plaza Suite newcomer, Evolur Home, is a baby-to-adult furniture supplier that mixes innovative design and quality with versatility. The line includes cribs, dressers, chests, strollers and mattresses, among other products. Evolur Home will be showcasing its top-selling Aurora, Julienne, Belmar and Cape May collections at Spring Market.

“Evolur Home has been servicing the juvenile market for more than 30 years, and with 700-plus Babies ‘R’ Us stores now closed, we see High Point Market as a huge opportunity to help fill this void,” said Robert Omansky, vice president of sales for Evolur Home. “We picked a showroom in Plaza Suites because we believe it is the perfect place to showcase our products. All Evolur collections include cribs that convert to full beds and come with a full assortment of coordinating bedroom cases. For this reason, we have coined the phrase ‘Cribs to College’ to describe our line.”

Beyond exhibits and showroom events, the Main Street Properties are home to the HFA Retailer Resource Center, which will host an assortment of seminars and events throughout High Point Market.
