Malouf Wins Gold at Stevie Awards
Utah-based bedding accessories producer Malouf was recognized in three categories of the 13th annual Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service, winning the gold for the Sales Partnerships Ethics in Sales Award and the Best Customer Feedback Strategy and silver for Best Customer Satisfaction Strategy.
The awards were announced on February 23 at a gala ceremony in Las Vegas. Over 2,700 nominations from organizations in 45 nations and from a variety of industries were evaluated in this year’s competition.
The Ethics in Sales Award is a new award for 2019. Fred Kessler, president of Sales Partnerships, and sponsor and judge for the award, said, “The Stevie Awards judges have determined the winner is Malouf, for focusing on values from start to finish.”
Malouf has eight core values that guide company-wide decisions from top to bottom. Matt Vance, reputation management team lead, said, “We try to act with integrity every day, for our employees, clients, partners, and customers. It’s one of our eight values. We love that organizations like Sales Partnerships and the Stevies are also making this a priority.”
Malouf also received the award for Best Customer Feedback Strategy, over companies like Bank of America, Delta Airlines, and IBM. Malouf’s review team responds to more than 15,000 reviews a year and transforms that feedback into useable data. Their marketing teams use that information to adjust errors, experiential issues, and product deficiencies to better align with consumer’s expectations.
Finally, Malouf received the silver award for Best Customer Satisfaction Strategy. The judges examined how the customer service department has evolved as Malouf grew from a small, two-person startup to a multinational corporation of more than 400 employees.
