Classic Brands Returns to High Point Market

Specialty mattress producer Classic Brands has announced its return to High Point Market next month. After a one-market hiatus, the company is opening a new showroom at FP-510 in Furniture Plaza.

“It’s vital for us to have a major presence in High Point, where we are shopped by buyers from all over the world,” said Michael Zippelli, president and CEO. “Many of our dealers were anxious for us to return to High Point because they don’t shop other markets, and this new space will allow us to show the depth and breadth of our line.”

In addition to its lineup of innerspring, hybrid, gel, memory foam, latex foam and futon mattresses, the new showroom will include Classic’s adjustable bed bases and sleep accessories including pillows, mattress protectors and bed frames.

A pioneer in the development of boxed bedding, all of Classic’s mattresses can be roll-packed and shipped in a box.

In addition to its High Point showroom, Classic Brands maintains a showroom at the Las Vegas Market. The company continues to exhibit in its 1,500-square-foot New York showroom for the Home Fashions Market, the trade show geared toward home textiles and trafficked by mass merchant and big box retailers.

“Each of the showrooms provides us the opportunity to have strategic conversations with key retailers in a variety of distribution channels,” Zippelli said. “In High Point, we capture furniture retailers; Las Vegas zeroes in on leading bedding retailers; and New York puts us squarely in front of big box retailers. These markets remain a critical part of our growth strategy as we continue to diversify our customer base.”
