Bobby Berk to Debut New Collection for A.R.T. Furniture

Calif.-based A.R.T. Furniture has partnered with Bobby Berk, an International star on Netflix’s Queer Eye, to launch a 70-piece collection at the Spring High Point Market, according to a report from Architectural Digest.

The partnership marks the first time A.R.T. is working with an outside designer.

“We recognized very early that Bobby Berk has a sense of style and personal touch with people through his show,” said Doug Rozenboom, SVP of merchandising and marketing at A.R.T. “Since Queer Eye is shown in almost 200 countries, the brand exposure and outreach are immense.”

Though the company’s selection includes traditional styles, Berk’s collection skews modern. “I wanted to create something that was infused with elements of Art Deco and midcentury modern while keeping things inviting and comfortable,” Berk said.

An interior designer with an L.A. practice, Berk created items that speak to his own sourcing needs. “From minimalist modern to rustic traditional, I wanted to develop something that would work with whatever style I’m designing in and for a wide range of clients.”

Kerry Glasser, founder of Concept Marketing Group, brokered the license.
