HP Market, ASID, Announce Design Viewpoints Sessions for Spring Market

The High Point Market Authority (HPMA), in partnership with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), has set the schedule for its popular educational seminar series for Spring Market. The Design Viewpoints Series (DVS) will take place April 6-8, at the High Point Theatre, next to the Transportation Terminal in downtown High Point. Designers can earn up to 0.3 IDCEC-approved continuing education units (CEUs) through the series.

Sponsored by Monogram Appliances, the Design Viewpoints Series sessions are free and open to all interior designers, retailers, and other Market attendees with a valid Spring Market pass.

On tap for the series are three thought-provoking seminars to help attendees navigate the changing interior design business landscape. Learn from industry leaders as they share their knowledge on designing a business, evaluating tech tools, and leveraging social media to market one’s business.

“Our attendees have not been shy about asking for educational programming that provides actionable takeaways, tackles tough topics, and highlights industry-relevant, business-focused ideas and trends. The Design Viewpoints Series achieves all these goals and offers access to industry all-stars, all while offering CEU credits for designers,” commented Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. “It’s a program we’re very proud to have as part of our event line-up.”

Randy Fiser, CEO, ASID said, “At ASID, we believe that design impacts lives. In order to create meaningful change in the built environment, designers must acquire the business knowledge to sustain growing and resilient firms. We selected the topics for the Design Viewpoints Series to assist the design community in gaining that imperative business acumen while positively impacting the lives of their clients.”
