IFDA Announces Nine Design Student Scholarships for 2019

Applications for nine scholarships from the Educational Foundation (EF) of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) will be accepted starting March 1 through March 31.

Since the early years of this 72-year-old global design industry alliance, EF has awarded scholarships to high-achieving design students as well as grants to talented professionals, internationally.  Last year, EF's seven annual scholarships totaled $12,500, but for this year, two have been added that expands that amount to $18,000.

“We are excited about these scholarships, which allow us to celebrate the talented individuals who are emerging in the design and furnishings industry,” said Merry Mabbett Dean, FIFDA, and chairman of the board of the Educational Foundation of IFDA. “We continue to be committed to improving our industry by supporting students and enhancing public awareness through educational and philanthropic programs.”
