Broome + Greene Opens First Trade Showroom

Online modern furniture resource Broome + Greene has announced the opening of its first trade showroom in the Design Center at theMART, Chicago's iconic and world-famous design destination.
The 1,800 square-foot showroom will feature the company's modern furniture line, in addition to lighting and décor for town and country homes.
Founded in 2018 as an online-only retailer, Broome + Greene is known for working directly with top designers and creating unique, individualized spaces for their clients. The Merchandise Mart location will be the company's first brick and mortar offering with retail stores following in New York City and Princeton in 2019 and 2020.
"We have developed a strong book of business in the Chicagoland area and for us it made sense to take our business offline and offer designers and their clients an opportunity to visit us and experience our full range in person," said Richard Eib, CEO.
"After extensive research, we felt that the team at theMART has developed a world class building, coupled with excellent event programming that would provide the perfect home for our first trade showroom,” Eib added.
"We are excited to welcome Broome + Greene, along with its modern and impressive furniture, lighting and décor, to the Design Center,” said Beth Hicks, managing director of marketing for Design Center and Casual Market Chicago. “Designers will be able to see their collection first-hand in a setting meant to spark imagination and help envision future projects. We can't wait until their doors are open."
Broome + Greene expects to open the first week of April 2019 and will welcome designers and their clients between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
