Coconis Furniture/ Mattress 1st Opens 4th Store in Lancaster

The 9,000 square-foot store is merchandised with a 5,000 square-foot Mattress 1^st Gallery featuring- Serta, Simmons Beautyrest, Tempur-Pedic and a private label brand, Mattress 1^st. 

The Mattress 1^st store utilizes Support Report Technology, a body mapping system that defines pressure points in the body while lying down. This information is used to assist the shopper in determining the best comfort level and firmness using a 4 Cloud rating system of mattress choices. 

The remaining 4,000 square feet of showroom offers a broad selection of La-Z-Boy reclining furniture including; recliners, reclining sectionals, reclining sofas and loveseats, lift chairs and massage recliners.  Coconis  Mattress 1^st is the only authorized La-Z-Boy retailer in the Lancaster area.  The store maintains its inventory, service and delivery at a 35,000 square foot high bay distribution center in nearby South Zanesville.

The grand opening began Feb. 1 with good store traffic and sales to date.  Other nearby communities are being considered for possible development of new stores.

Mattress 1^st is part of the Furniture First buying group. The Coconis Furniture/Mattress 1^st store locations include the flagship 70,000 square foot store in South Zanesville, a 40,000 square foot store in Heath, Ohio and a 10,000 square foot Mattress 1^st/Bedroom store in Zanesville.

The store is owned and operated by Randy and Paul (Jr.) Coconis along with 4^th generation sons, Bo and Chad Coconis, from South Zanesville, Ohio.
