The transaction will move all of the Curate Home Collection inventory, sales management, sales representation and logistics and marketing functions within the Century Furniture organization, and Curate Home will become a product division for Century.
Curate Home Collection is known for its high-quality, Philippines sourced case goods and occasional seating products featuring prominently materials such as rattan, crushed bamboo and fiber weaving as well as intricate metal work and exotic inlays and finishes.
“Century is always in conversation with potential partners who can bring a unique capability and perspective to our offering of high-end products for the home,” said Comer Wear, vice president of marketing. “Our brand has a long history in natural fiber and casual products, and when the opportunity to combine our legacy, logistics, and design with Curate Home’s fabrication expertise arose, our creative team knew it would be a perfect addition to our product offering.”
“We look forward to showcasing these beautiful pieces in our High Point showroom this April, and working with our authorized partners to showcase them in Century displays around the country,” added Wear.
The Curate Home for Century Collection will comprise over 150 unique items available in multiple finishes. These items will be available through Century Furniture’s authorized dealers and corporately owned showrooms. The collection will be on display in Century’s showroom located at 200 Steele, Suite 213, at the semi-annual High Point International Furniture Market in April.
