Bernhardt Honored by NC Governor and EDPNC

Exporting goods and services helps to support the economy and job growth in North Carolina, accounting for some 370,000 jobs in the State, according to the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.

Bernhardt and five other N.C. companies were presented with The Governor’s Export Award at the Governor’s Mansion in Raleigh on Jan. 14.

“We’re pleased to be recognized by Governor Cooper for our dedication to exports,” said Peter Hancock, vice president of Bernhardt Export Sales. “As a global leader in furniture design, Bernhardt’s products are sought out worldwide – which supports our company’s job growth right here in North Carolina.”

“Thanks to Bernhardt’s product designers and our international sales team, exports have played an important role in the company’s double-digit job growth in the past five years,” Hancock added.
