Classic Home Introduces Northwest Origins Lifestyle Trend

Calif.-based Classic Home will debut a new lifestyle trend called Northwest Origins at the upcoming Las Vegas Winter Market, Jan. 27 - 31, as part of a merchandising resource offered to customers.

Inspired by the landscape and history of the Pacific Northwest, the trend features sustainably sourced furniture, and handcrafted textiles. With an appreciation for warm wood tones and natural textures, Northwest Origins creates cozy retreats where people can relax and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.

“Our new look creates inviting spaces with pieces that bring the beauty of the outdoors in,” said Classic Home COO Marci Jones. “Our reclaimed wood furniture and natural fiber rugs and textiles capture the adventurous spirit of this trend and give our customers fully realized merchandising vignettes.”

Common Origins, a recently debuted pillow collection, complements Northwest Origins’ aesthetic by introducing thick weaves, deep blue colorways, and artisanal details like tasseled corners and fringe. Colorful, highly textured, and a touch bohemian, the pillows pair well with the wood furniture’s grain patterns.

Northwest Origins also includes leather accents and clean-lined furniture that nods to the Pacific Northwest’s frontier past and the region’s unique interpretation of mid-century design.

Northwest Origins joins four other lifestyle trends—Coastal View, Downtown Escape, Nouveau Traditional, and Modern Farmhouse—that give customers a curated look at Classic Home’s collections and serve as inspiration in-store vignettes.

To help customers create the Northwest Origins look in their stores or design projects, Classic Home will also be releasing a merchandising guide with suggested color palettes, texture and color pairings, and décor accessories. Digital merchandising support includes a more robust style guide and a Pinterest board with further design inspiration.

The curated pieces used in Northwest Origins, and other trend forward pieces, will be available at Classic Home’s showroom in C309.
