Norwalk, CT.-based Lillian August Furnishings + Design has expanded and renovated their Stamford showroom. The new Warehouse Shop, located at 47 John Street is vastly expanded beyond its original use as the distribution center for the luxury home furnishings company.
Boasting designer looks at all price points, the new Warehouse Shop is the largest rug gallery in the area. Its dedicated To the Trade showroom caters to the interior design professionals that go to Stamford as a shopping and design destination.
“We recognize the Stamford area as a vibrant destination for design and our expanded Warehouse Shop delivers something for everyone. It is important to have a strong presence in Stamford and we are proud of our new offerings to the design community,” said Dan Weiss.
“The decision to expand and renovate the Stamford Warehouse Shop is part of a strategic plan to consolidate our store offerings and improve the customer experience. The Stamford location is best suited to compliment the offerings at the Design Center located in Norwalk and the Greenwich Atelier.”
The Stamford Warehouse Shop includes 50,000 square feet of retail space and a rug gallery with over 5,000 rugs in-stock. The Stamford location also carries products, showcased in vignettes on par with the Norwalk Design Center. Lillian’s own signature line for Hickory White is also featured, including the popular, new Modern Living collection.
