Miliboo, the French home furnishings innovator and a CES 2019 Smart Home Innovation Award honoree, has introduced their Smart Sofa at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The smart sofa offers a unique home theater experience, providing a global home automation solution, wireless device charging and integrated lighting. The fully connected sofa has the ability to maximize the audio and video experience while the user watches sports, movies, television shows or streaming content. It can also control all IoT connected objects within the home including lighting systems, alarms, heating, garage doors and more, offering users a personalized and unique smart home experience.
Designed by Miliboo founder and president Guillaume Lachenal, the connected sofa allows the user to enjoy a full 4D sensory experience for the first time from the comfort of home. With vibrant interactive seating, built-in speakers, sound amplifiers and integrated under-lighting, the connected sofa creates a unique cinematic experience.
"Miliboo smart couch is an interactive control platform for the entire home - including smart home devices, the Internet, TV and music," said Lachenal. "Our connected sofa revolutionizes users' daily routines, while also providing quality modern design and comfort.”
Integrated into the armrest is a wireless device charging station. The Miliboo connected app provides access to designated online streaming platforms and offers complete control over the smart TV set. The sensory and immersive system is built-in under the base and includes a vibrator seat, adjustable lightning with LED lamps, two loudspeakers of 120 watts each, a subwoofer of 720 watts and an amplifier.
Miliboo is exhibiting at Eureka Park at the Sands in booth #50855. The Smart Sofa will also be on display at the Innovation Awards Showcase and at the Business France/Frenchtech exhibit at the Sands.
