Soft-Tex Wins Graphic Design Award for New Pillow Packaging

Sleep product manufacturer Soft-Tex International has been named a winner of the 2018 American Graphic Design Awards for Packaging Design.

Soft-Tex was honored for innovative packaging design featured in its new collection of wellness pillows under the SensorGel brand which will launch in early 2019, exclusively at Macy’s.  

The Graphic Design Awards are an independent, juried competition sponsored by Graphic Design USA to spotlight areas of excellence and opportunity for creative professionals. This year's competition featured roughly 10,000 entries and a highly selective 10 percent were honored.

"Soft-Tex is proud to have a 100% in-house graphic design department and this award is a testament to the creative, best-in-class product they produce on a daily basis" said Chris Marsh, chief marketing officer.

Soft-Tex's graphic design team supports all of the company’s product packaging, in-store displays, eCommerce photography, corporate websites, and more.

Courtney Ellis, the creative design manager at Soft-Tex, developed the packaging for the new product collection and said, "I wanted to create an organic and bold impression for our consumers by taking a different approach for this collection. The design needed to be as unique as the pillows themselves, so I veered from the typical pillow box look while pulling inspiration from the infused materials in color and textures."

Soft-Tex was the only home textile company to be honored for this distinction.
