Latest in Bedding Announced for Upcoming Las Vegas Market

Las Vegas Market has announced all things bedding for the upcoming Winter Market, including new and expanding showrooms, product introductions and bedding-focused programming.

“Las Vegas Market is a platform for the top 14 bedding manufacturers to introduce new product and unveil the latest technologies,” said Scott Eckman, president of furniture and home décor leasing for International Market Centers.

For the first time this winter, Las Vegas Market will host the Bedding CEO Summit, featuring an educational roundtable discussion with bedding thought leaders on the 2019 forecast for motion/adjustables within the bedding category.

Confirmed participants include: Johannes Gradwohl, CEO of Logicdata; Jay Thompson, president of Leggett & Platt Adjustable Bed Group; Martin Rawls-Meehan, founder and CEO of Reverie; and Phil Sherman, president of Customatic. The conference will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Monday Jan. 28 in World Forum on B16.

“I’m looking forward to discussing predictions and insights of adjustable bases along with other leaders as the bedding industry gathers for the most important market,” said Gradwohl. “This really will be an unprecedented conversation to benefit the entire industry and we’re honored to share our expertise.”

This January, buyers will have access to an unprecedented mix of the latest technology, fabrics and forms, and will receive a first-hand look at the latest bedding and sleep products with more than 50 showrooms providing a test-and-try. Additionally, Las Vegas Market will feature more than 100 bedding producers and sleep accessories producers across its campus.

New-to-Market bedding tenants include: Americanstar, a provider of conventional and European pillow-top mattresses, in a 2,500 square-foot showroom on B11 and mattress suppliers Nectar Sleep, DreamCloud and Level Sleep, in 6,223 square feet on B13. Additionally, Eclipse Eastman, a manufacturer of fine handcrafted mattresses, is expanding to 5,500 square feet on B11; Night & Day, a provider of bedroom, futon and daybed, and mattress products, is relocating and expanding to 6,200 square feet on B8; and Sealy Sofabeds, a manufacturer of high-quality mattresses, is relocating and expanding to 6,070 square feet on B10. Two existing tenants have renewed on B9 this winter: Innova Sleep Systems in 4,287 square feet and Therapedic in 4,320 square feet.
