DreamCloud Sleep Brings a Day of Meditation to Athleta

Online mattress supplier DreamCloud Sleep offered New Yorkers a moment of reprieve from holiday fatigue when the company took over women's activewear brand Athleta's Flatiron Studio in New York for a day of meditation in bed.
The company provided guided breath, gentle poses and key stretches on DreamCloud's 15-inch luxury hybrid mattress to promote mindfulness and relaxation.
Athleta, one of most notable fashion-meets-wellness brands in the U.S., tapped their network of studio instructors to engage each class. Visitors enjoyed a dreamy setting and soundtrack to further promote a calming atmosphere.
"We recognize that this time of year is especially stressful for millions of Americans, which results in losing precious hours of quality sleep," said Gil Efrati, chief marketing officer at DreamCloud. "It's easy to forget how important it is to relax both the mind and body, so we developed this beditation concept to remind people how good it feels to do just that, and how easy it can be to practice right from your bed."
During 'Beditation' classes throughout the day, consumers were encouraged to participate in an Instagram giveaway to win a DreamCloud Sleep mattress, touted as the first ever luxury bed-in-a-box available only at www.dreamcloudsleep.com.
Following the event, DreamCloud donated eight mattresses to Covenant House, a New York-based charity providing shelter and crisis care to homeless youth.
