Twin Star Home Goes Live with Virtual Reality Content

Electric fireplace and furniture manufacturer Twin Star Home has announced the live release of its new virtual reality experience on the company website.

Visitors to the site can experience a full 360 degree tour of the Genevieve, Uptown Loft and Wright Collections. In addition to the tour, consumers are further engaged as they watch videos play on a TV, see an adjustable height desk raise and lower, and picture the glowing fire as it crackles in each electric fireplace. Selecting a product provides a product description and, in some instances, full video content.

“Building upon our leadership in fire and furnishings, Twin Star Home is also dedicated to being a leader in creating content that engages consumers with the most inspiring and compelling form,” said Lisa Cody, vp of marketing. “We have a deep understanding of our consumer segments and their behaviors and preferences when it comes to consuming content. We know we need to serve up content that’s relevant to their purchasing journey —whether it’s in store, online or at home.”

The virtual reality experience engages the consumer by giving them the ability to see how the collections look in a realistic home environment and provides design inspiration before and after purchase.

“This type of interactive, realistic content not only helps the consumer who visits our website, but it is a powerful way for dealers to provide consumers an endless showroom and solves the problem of limited space within their retail locations,” added Cody.
