Sleep product manufacturer Soft-Tex International has announced the launch of its Community Support Program and several recent donations in celebration of Giving Tuesday.
The new program is an application-based, multi-faceted donation support program in which organizations may apply for any combination of product donations, monetary donations, volunteers, or other support.
"Soft-Tex has a rich history of donating to worthy causes in our communities, and I'm excited to continue that tradition through the launch of our Community Support Program" said Jeff Chilton, CEO. "As we've grown as a company, so has our commitment to our community and we're excited to be able to start a program to offer our philanthropic support to where it is most needed."
Applications may be submitted on a rolling basis and are reviewed by Soft-Tex's Community Involvement Team monthly. Recent donations of Soft-Tex items include pillows, mattress toppers, mattresses, bath and kitchen mats, seat cushions, and more to the Community of Jesus Benedictine Monastery and Habitat for Humanity.
The company’s headquarters in Waterford, N.Y. will also sponsor a pajama drive this holiday season in support of Christmas Pajama Promise of the Capital Region and participate again in the Adopt-A-Family program through Healthy Families of Rensselaer County.
