IMC Restructures Sales and Leasing Team

International Market Centers has announced a new integrated structure and staffing for its sales and leasing teams.

The news comes on the heels of IMC’s recently announced executive leadership team appointments and long-range market plans.

Permanent showroom leasing responsibilities, which will be industry-based and market-wide for furniture and home décor, will be led by Scott Eckman, EVP and president of furniture and home décor leasing. Gift and apparel showroom leasing, which will continue to be managed by venue in Atlanta and Las Vegas, will be led by Dave Savula, EVP and president of gift and apparel leasing. Tradeshow leasing, which will be campus-specific in Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas, will be led by JoAnn Miller Marshall, EVP and president of tradeshow leasing.

“Furniture and home décor leasing will align around centralized ‘key account’ management which will create stronger and more focused agent-tenant partnerships,” said Eckman. “This also will allow our customers to maximize our results and to achieve national distribution.”

Reporting directly to Eckman, and with company-wide sales responsibility, Ryan Mahoney and Julie Messner will lead home furnishings leasing. Also reporting to Eckman, Katie Miner will lead leasing and overall management of ADAC (Atlanta Decorative Arts Center).

“Gift and apparel leasing will continue to be managed by venue in Atlanta and Las Vegas,” said Savula. “This structure provides both a market-based and industry-centric focus for our sales efforts.”

Reporting directly to Savula, Terence Morris will lead permanent gift leasing in Las Vegas; and Mary Sullivan will lead permanent gift and apparel leasing in Atlanta.

“Tradeshow leasing will apply expertise and expanded resources to grow existing temporary presentations in Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas,” said Miller Marshall. “IMC’s temporary exhibit sales teams will be campus-specific, better enabling existing staff to maintain the unique personality and differentiating features of each Market.”

Reporting directly to Miller Marshall, Marie Knight will lead gift and home décor temporary leasing in Atlanta and Priscila Gilburg will lead gift and home décor temporary leasing in Las Vegas; in High Point, Angie Nelson will lead temporary leasing for Salon and Suites at Market Square, and Gaye Outlaw retains leasing responsibility for Interhall at IHFC; and Caron Stover will lead apparel temporary leasing in Atlanta.

Under Miller Marshall’s direction, tradeshow leasing also will identify opportunities to maximize occupancy at the new Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas which will break ground in January and is scheduled to open in July 2020. Jennifer Muna, CEM, will be responsible for the overall management, business activities, strategies, and leadership for the new 300,000 gross square foot, state-of-the-art facility reporting to Greg Avitabile, EVP of operations.
