Belfort Furniture has announced that the Grand Opening celebration for its new 85,000 square foot showroom was a success, featuring HGTV’s Drew and Jonathan Scott and drawing thousands of customers.
Prior to the doors opening, Drew and Jonathan Scott joined the Huber family and the Belfort staff for a private ribbon cutting officially opening the new showroom.
Michael Huber, CEO, thanked his staff for their hard work over the past few years as they renovated and expanded the “Belfort Basics” showroom and Clearance Center into a new showroom of modern, classic and casual styles of home furnishings in gallery settings.
The Scott Living collection created by the Scott brothers is showcased in the space. The collection reflects the brothers’ personal styles, blending modern and industrial looks with textures, finishes, and interesting materials, inviting consumers to curate the perfect look for their home.
The showroom also features the area’s largest youth furniture display and mattress gallery, plus outdoor collections. The new lifestyle environment features an even broader selection of popular manufacturers like Kincaid, Rowe, Flexsteel, Daniel’s Amish and Canadel.
The Belfort Furniture park complex now has 150,000 square feet of showroom space.
The event highlight was the Scott brothers’ appearance. Matt Huber, EVP, led a design Q&A where the Scott brothers shared insights on design trends and their next projects. Children attending were invited to join Drew and Jonathan on the stairs for a reading from their just released, children’s book, “Builder Brothers: Big Plans.”
Customers attending the event also enjoyed a red-carpet, Hollywood-like experience when they got their photo taken with Drew and Jonathan Scott at the step-and-repeat background. The Scott Brothers appearance concluded with drawings for $2,500 in Scott Living furniture.
“The event was a huge, huge success,” said Huber. “Their fans align with our customer base; people who are renovating, moving, and redecorating their homes.”
“The Scott Brothers’ creative ideas are an inspiration to all to design beautiful, comfortable homes, and that’s what Belfort is all about. It’s our mission to provide easy, affordable room solutions that inspire and enhance the lives of our customers; that’s our passion, and theirs,” Huber added.
Hoping to extend the success of his Stone Tower Winery, Huber added a wine bar into the showroom. “We want to change-up the shopping experience,” Huber commented. “We have an opportunity to engage with customers the way they want to live – in a beautiful, relaxing environment. There’s no better way to relax than to sit down in a comfortable chair and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine.” The company served over 3,500 glasses of wine at the event.
The month-long grand opening celebration includes furniture giveaways totaling over $25,000. No purchase is necessary. Rules are posted at the Belfort Furniture showrooms.
