Badgley Mischka Launches Collaborative Design Home App

In an effort to grow consumer awareness through mobile entertainment, Badgley Mischka Home has launched its first collaboration with Design Home, a mobile entertainment app from Glu Mobile. The app is free through the App Store and Google Play.

A selection of home furnishings items designed by the fashion icons at Badgley Mischka are featured in Glu Mobile’s virtual gaming format.

“Design Home is a lifestyle platform that creates a new dynamic between brands and consumers, in which products can be experienced more creatively than ever before,” said Chris McGill, VP and GM of Design Home. “Our partnership with Badgley Mischka Home offers Design Home players access to a fashion-forward home brand to further elevate the spaces they create.”

Design Home launched worldwide in 2016. According to the company, it is the most popular interior design app, with over 1 million daily active users creating more than 2 million uniquely designed rooms every day. Players are challenged to create interior designs with furniture and other decor items, and they receive feedback from other enthusiasts. Up to six new challenges are released daily.

“Mobile entertainment is a powerful way for brands to engage with the consumer audience,” said Jonathan Bass, CEO, Badgley Mischka Home. “Our launch with Design Home gives us a unique opportunity to share our position as a fashion leader in the home space.”

In addition to Badgley Mischka Home, products from recognized home furnishings brands, including Design Within Reach, West Elm, Kathy Kuo, Arhaus, Apt2B and Serena & Lily, are featured in the app.
