Latex foam producer Talalay Global has named Jack Kurilla, a sales and marketing veteran, to the newly created post of vice president of business development.
Kurilla brings more than 20 years of leadership in sales, product and business development across diverse product categories to the only U.S. producer of Talalay latex.
“Jack’s vast experience in the textiles, housewares and tabletop industries makes him perfectly suited for this new position as we embark on a plan to grow several areas of our business,” said Marc Navarre, who was named Talalay Global CEO in April. “He has a history of generating stellar results using omnichannel sales strategies.”
Since early 1998, Kurilla has led sales and marketing teams that have generated unprecedented results in both sales and profit. Working the past seven years with textile companies such as Excell, Glenoit, Designweave and SureFit.
“This is an exciting time to be a part of Talalay Global as we implement our plan to launch our new upscale brand and products at retail in North America,” Kurilla said. “Our proprietary Talalay latex process and unmatched research and development efforts will allow us to penetrate multiple distribution channels with unique high-end products.”
A resident of Madison, N.J., Kurilla holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Johnson and Wales University.
