LV Design Center Offers Office Spaces for Designers

Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC) is offering interior designers and other members of the trade an opportunity to lease office space on the second floor of Building A.  The design offices provide nearly 20 work spaces with benefits that include flexible space sizes, competitive rates, negotiable term length, conference room, break room, valet parking, 24-hour receiving, on-site restaurant/bar, 24-hour security in a centralized location.

“Las Vegas Design Center is one of the only design centers in the country to offer the extent of the office space that we are offering,” said Lee Hershberg, VP of home décor leasing and the Las Vegas Design Center. “This is an opportunity for designers to be in a community setting, to have the support of a marketplace, the prestige of a design center address, the professionalism of the environment and to be among the very resources they use for their installations.”

Located on the first two floors of Building A at the World Market Center Las Vegas campus, LVDC is home to nearly 30 to-the-trade showrooms showcasing 120+ product lines. LVDC resources include Vanguard Furniture, Global Views, Visual Comfort, Wendover Art, Christopher Guy, Norwalk Furniture, Phillips Collection, Eastern Accents, and the Kitchen & Bath Resource Center, among others.

After a soft launch at 2018 Las Vegas Summer Market, the Kitchen & Bath Resource Center (A110) is open and features four inspirational displays showcasing top brands in flooring, stone/tile/countertops, fixtures, plumbing, cabinetry and lighting. The 6,000-square-foot resource center is also home to the new European Kitchen, Bath Tile, and Stone showroom. The showroom will debut at 2019 Las Vegas Winter Market.

The Urban Chic Showcase, LVDC’s newest multi-line showrooms located in A226, includes brands such as Loloi Rugs, Howard Elliott, Art & Frame Source and Interlude Home. Loloi and Howard Elliott have showrooms on other floors throughout campus that are only open during the bi-annual Las Vegas Market.

“I have a great designer base that knows and trusts me, and this showroom allows the companies to have greater visibility to West Coast designers while also giving the designers more choices,” said Joanne Tatem, president of Urban Chic. “We sell product off the floor for their convenience, as we all understand deadlines! Designers can bring their clients in as well so that they can touch and feel the product first hand.”

Beyond products, the Las Vegas Design Center builds community. Industry professionals and associations gather throughout the year for seminars, programs, networking events, and special occasions. Additionally, LVDC showrooms are among the most popular destinations on campus for buyers and designers alike during Las Vegas Market.

Upcoming LVDC events include:

• Oct. 29: Garden Party with Christopher Guy

• Nov. 1: Sub Zero/ASID CEU

• Nov. 7 – Nov. 9: Sample Sale

• Dec. 6: Holiday Celebration

Las Vegas Design Center is located at 495 S. Grand Central Pkwy, and is open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holiday closures. For more information, go to https://www.lasvegasmarket.com/year-round/lvdc.
