Industry veteran Lorri Kelley has announced the launch of Lorri Kelley Advisors, a sales management and leadership consultancy dedicated to the home furnishings industry.
With almost three decades in the business, Kelley brings expertise in business development, retail and consumer services, and marketing and merchandising. In her new role, she will work with leaders in manufacturing, retail, sales and marketing to identify goals for growth and strategies toward attaining them.
“I am passionate about helping others achieve excellence in all they do, both professionally and personally. I have been so fortunate to have had so many wonderful and exceptional experiences in my 25-plus years in the furniture industry, and having the opportunity to draw upon that to help others succeed in what they do is really so exciting,” Kelley said.
Home furnishings are more than just business to Kelley, who most recently served as president of BDI, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance furniture. She serves on the boards of directors for organizations including City of Hope - International Home Furnishings Association, Anti-Defamation League – Home Furnishings, the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame and WithIt, a not-for-profit home furnishings networking and mentoring group for women.
Kelley previously served as EVP of sales and marketing for Palliser Furniture, where she oversaw sales, retail and consumer services, retail business development, marketing initiatives and merchandising. She also was president and chief operating officer for Home Elements, the 26-store retail division of The Rowe Companies. Eventually, she assumed the role of SVP of sales, marketing and merchandising for Rowe Furniture. Kelley’s extensive experience also includes sales for Thomasville Furniture and Bernhardt, and retail development with Pennsylvania House Furniture.
