Manhattan-based Studio NYC Design and Los Angeles-based Prestige Arts have announced a new collaboration that will transform the Studio’s nature-inspired designs into affordable, high-quality wall art. The first pieces from the joint project are set to make their debut at the Prestige Arts showroom at the Fall High Point Market, Oct. 13-17.
“We’re excited to see the images and patterns we use in our original artwork transformed into stunning, framed artwork,” said Nancy Fire, founder and creative director of Design Works International and creative director of Studio NYC Design. “Home designers will now have an affordable way to cover the walls of their living spaces with the latest trends in design imagery.”
To celebrate the new collection, Studio NYC Design and Prestige Arts will host a breakfast launch party, featuring coffee and bagels, specially flown in from New York. Attendees are invited to have a bite and view the collection, and meet with Studio NYC Design co-founder Nancy Fire on Monday, Oct. 15, at 10:30 a.m., at the Prestige Arts showroom (IHFC, C457) on the fourth floor of the Commerce Wing.
For the first collection, Prestige Arts will take the nature-inspired images and patterns that Studio NYC Design has successfully incorporated in its Organic Modern line of home décor accessories and transform them into dramatic, full-sized, art-prints that can be framed and hung as wall pieces.
Images that make up the collection are inspired by the dramatic, and often playful, patterns found in nature. The fine art giclée prints aim to elevate the beauty often discovered hidden and under-appreciated in the world that surrounds us. The images will be available in a variety of sizes, framing options and price points.
Family-operated Prestige Arts has supplied the home décor and furniture markets with rich-quality hand painted oils and fine art pieces for over 40 years. In their new collaboration with Studio NYC Design, they’ll expand their offerings into a highly relatable, line of wall art aimed at the millennial market at attractive prices.
