Hall of Fame Issues Final Call for Tickets

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation has issued the final call to purchase tickets to the Hall of Fame Induction Celebration to be held Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons.

Legendary basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski will deliver the keynote address. A winning coach of both collegiate and Olympic teams, a motivational speaker for Fortune 500 companies, a bestselling author and a popular broadcast host, Coach K is among America’s most respected coaches and leaders. Hosting will be twin brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott, the award-winning hosts of multiple top-rated HGTV series and founders of Scott Living, and entertainment by trumpet maestro Rick Braun.

“We look forward to an inspiring and entertaining evening at the industry’s most prestigious event, as leaders from all segments of home furnishings gather to honor four individuals with the industry’s highest recognition,” said Jeff Child, president of the Foundation board of directors. “The entire evening, from the Cocktail Party beforehand to the After Party at the conclusion of the induction celebration, promises to be great fun and the year’s foremost networking event.”

Joining the current 112 members of the Hall of Fame are Kurt L. Darrow, chairman, president and CEO of La-Z-Boy, Inc.; Allen E. Gant, Jr., chairman of Glen Raven, Inc.; Keith Koenig, co-founder and president of City Furniture; and Paul B. Toms, Jr., chairman and CEO of Hooker Furniture Corp.

“Coach K is the perfect keynote speaker to highlight our new Leadership Initiative,” added Child. “As a coach, mentor and leader he has guided countless people – young and old – to greater leadership. Most importantly, we’re thrilled to celebrate four visionary Hall of Fame inductees, whose innovative ideas, stellar accomplishments and unselfish service serve as object lessons for future leaders of our industry.”

Tickets are $250 per ticket for members ($2,500 for a table of 10) and $300 per ticket for non-members ($3,000 for a table of 10). For more information about the celebration or to purchase tickets, visit the event’s website at www.leadwithvision2018.com.
