Art Van Wins Malouf Sponsored VIP Trip to Supima Design Competition

Utah-based bedding accessories maker Malouf has announced Art Van PureSleep as the winner of its Supima Runway Getaway contest. The retailer and two representatives were able to enjoy an all-expense-paid trip to New York City and attend the 11th annual Supima Design Competition as VIP guests during New York Fashion Week.
Supima, a leader in premium American-grown cotton, hosts a design competition every year to celebrate talented students from the top design schools in America. At this year’s competition, seven finalists were able to showcase their fashion pieces on the runway.
Mike Douglas, vice president of Malouf Sales, said working with partners like Art Van and Supima creates more opportunities for everyone involved. “We value all our partnerships,” said Douglas. “It’s because of these relationships that we are able to make these special experiences happen.”
Tandy Avery, buyer for Art Van, said working with Malouf has helped their stores offer more than just products to customers. “Malouf helps us sell better sleep through innovative product offerings and technologies that enhance our selling process to fit each guest for their perfect night’s sleep,” she explained. “Malouf’s quality reinforces the trust our guest has in the expertise and product we present.”

Malouf launched its Woven Supima Sheet Set last summer at Las Vegas Market. The single-ply, 600-thread count sheets are made from 100 percent American-grown, extra-long staple Supima cotton and provide a premium bedding option for customers.
