Simply Amish Unveils ‘Style Your Own’ App for HP Market

Case goods and occasional furniture producer Simply Amish will debut their Style Your own dining and bedroom app at the upcoming High Point Market, Oct. 13-17. The app will allow consumers to visit Simply Amish’s website, their dealer’s website, or use a proprietary kiosk that can be placed in Simply Amish dealers’ stores, allowing consumers to configure a piece that is exactly what they want.
Although consumers will still have to visit their nearest Simply Amish dealer to order, Kevin Kaufmann, co-founder and owner of Simply Amish says the app is like “a digital sales associate that not only shows customers all the features and options available 24/7, but that builds the piece before the consumers’ eyes. A consumer can create their dream piece on their laptop without leaving their house.”
For SYO dining, consumers can select table size, shape, top edge, style of leaf, leg, pedestal or trestle style, wood, stain choice, and note surface treatments desired.
In SYO beds, selections include size, headboard and panel style, trim, footboard legs, stain, wood, and note surface treatments. Nightstands and dresser configurations of drawers include top style, size, drawer fronts, leg styles, stain, wood, and note surface treatments.
“With our ability to customize almost anything we currently offer, or create something from scratch, it could be argued our entire 592 page catalog is Style Your Own. The great thing about the SYO app is that it gives consumers and Simply Amish dealers a way to take certain pieces and visualize what their changes will look like, print it out, and not need a custom quote,” Kaufmann said.
