After releasing more than 100 new designs at the July Las Vegas Market, high-end home furnishings brand Four Hands identified three trends expected this Fall and Winter based upon top sellers from the summer market.
The trends are:
Bold colors
Fond as Four Hands is of calm, classic neutrals, they’ve been experimenting with color in daring new ways, exploring the unmatched ability of color to alter the mood in a space. They're tapping earthy greens and jewel-tone merlots to infuse warm woods and edgy metals with a subtle sense of glam.
Specialty Leathers
Always sweet on leather, lately even Four Hands' traditional top-grain is undergoing a major overhaul. New colors and techniques are enhancing their leathers with added dimension. Whether purposefully worn or finished with a smooth hand, the end result is modern luxury, simply put. The addition of specialty stitching, or edgy buckles, offer an added layer of interest and function.
Character Woods
Light, natural bleached woods, have a special way of highlighting woods’ inherent characteristics, like variations in texture, grain and veining. The organic luster of natural yukas, dry oak and mixed reclaimed woods shines through when finish is pared down, letting materials true beauty speak for itself.
Top sellers from the Las Vegas Market include:
The Cuzco Media Console—with bleached yukas that delivers warmth and minimalist styling (MSRP: $3,650); Maxx Sofa – 95” which is a modern take on the classic library sofa, with distressed birch-colored poly-blend covering and bronze nailheads, mounted on a whitewash parawood base; and Jack Leather Rocker— a slim and sophisticated rocking chair with black-finished framing, and sling-style buffalo leather seating.
