Hooker Furniture (NASDAQ: HOFT) is putting a fresh spin on traditional design, with the Reverie Collection set to launch at the Fall High Point Market, Oct. 13-17. The 35-piece whole home collection is defined by clean lines, a platinum gray finish, and various fabric and leather seating choices.
Crafted of quartered white oak, with a slightly distressed finish, the collection, includes bedroom, dining room, occasional, home office, home entertainment and accent pieces.
“We have merged two lanes of the design highway to create this updated traditional look with the Reverie Collection,” said Michelle Miller, merchandising manager for Hooker Furniture. “The clean lines accentuate the glazed platinum gray finish, which is subtly darker than most gray finishes and adds to the traditional feel.”
The collection is highlighted by a bedroom group that includes an upholstered bed, 9-drawer dresser, 5-drawer chest, night stand and bachelor’s chest. The headboard features button tufting and a crown motif, and the bed rails are fully upholstered.
Dining pieces include 86-inch rectangular and 54-inch round dining tables, a 76-inch tall display cabinet and a 69-inch buffet.
Other key pieces include a 60-inch writing desk, 80-inch media console, and an etagere that stands 80 inches tall. The etagere’s storage doors, and all other case pieces in the collection, utilize oversize ring pulls for hardware.
