Levin Furniture Opens 2nd Store in Youngstown, Ohio Market

Levin Furniture has announced its new Hermitage, Pa. store, the second of three new showrooms the retailer is debuting in the Youngstown, Ohio market.

The company will unveil the renovated 42,000-square-foot store at free grand opening events for the community Sept. 22- 23.

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, attended by Levin Furniture executives and William J. Moder III, board president of Hermitage. Guests can enjoy refreshments, music and register for door prizes. The fun will continue all weekend with sidewalk activities and a live radio remote.

“We’re inviting everyone in Youngstown to stop by, tour our new Hermitage showroom and experience Levin Furniture firsthand,” said Chris Pelcher, EVP and general manager.

Levin Furniture’s showroom in Hermitage will carry a variety of name brands such as Flexsteel and La-Z-Boy as well as private collections like Amish Village, which is manufactured in Killbuck, Ohio; West Coast Style and Grand Legacy, both made in the United States.

The Hermitage store is located at 1340 N. Hermitage Road (Route 18).

Levin Furniture acquired three Goldsteins Furniture stores in the Youngstown, Ohio market in May 2018. Its Hermitage showroom will employ 22 associates, more than half of whom previously worked at Goldsteins. Levin Furniture’s Boardman, Ohio store opened last month, and its Niles, Ohio showroom is slated to open in late October 2018. Individuals at the grand opening events at all three stores can register to win a $5,000 Levin Furniture shopping spree. No purchase is necessary. The grand prize winner will be announced in November.
