Levin Furniture Opens New Store in Boardman, Ohio

Levin Furniture has announced it will celebrate the opening of its new 55,000-square-foot Boardman, Ohio showroom with free Grand Opening events for the community, Aug. 31 through Sept. 2.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 31. Guests can enjoy refreshments, music, register for door prizes, and tour the showroom. The fun will continue Saturday, Sept. 1 and Sunday, Sept. 2 with sidewalk activities and a live radio remote with Wes Miller of Mix 98.9.
“We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome Youngstown families to Levin Furniture’s beautiful new showroom,” said Chris Pelcher, EVP and general manager. “We look forward to becoming immersed and involved in the Boardman community.”
The company will present a $2,500 check to the Akron Children’s Hospital Beeghly Campus at the ribbon-cutting event.
The new showroom, located at 300 Boardman-Poland Rd. (Route 224), will carry a variety of name brands such as Flexsteel, La-Z-Boy and Ashley as well as private collections like Amish Village, which is manufactured in Killbuck, Ohio; West Coast Style and Grand Legacy, both made in the U.S.
Located in the former Goldsteins Furniture building, the store will employ 26 associates, many who previously worked at Goldsteins. Levin Furniture’s Hermitage showroom is slated to open late Sept. 2018 and its Niles, Ohio store is scheduled to open late Oct. 2018. Individuals attending grand opening events at these stores can enter to win a $5,000 Levin Furniture shopping spree. No purchase is necessary. The winner will be announced in Nov. 2018.
