Lexington Home Brands Partners with Butera on Hampton Designer Showhouse

Lexington Home Brands has partnered with interior designer Barclay Butera to design the great room in the 2018 Hampton Designer Showhouse presented by Traditional Home.  In its 18th year, the Showhouse highlights work by more than 20 top interior designers from around the country.

The home features contemporary Hamptons architecture, a spacious open floorplan and beautifully landscaped back yard with a pool area and private tennis court. The Showhouse, located at 2148 Scuttle Hole Road in Bridgehampton, was generously donated by Barsalin Building & Design.

Butera has been the creative force behind his eponymous design firm based in Newport Beach, Calif. His signature aesthetic is a fresh take on classic all-American style that integrates into traditional, transitional and contemporary interiors. His room in the Showhouse features casegoods and upholstery designs from the Newport collection - his latest home furnishings collaboration with Lexington Home Brands featuring his iconic blue and white color palette.

Butera said, “I’m so proud to be part of the Showhouse in Bridgehampton this year. I was given the opportunity to design and furnish the great room, with its striking fireplace, classic symmetry and abundant natural light. I combined my Newport collection from Lexington Home Brands with home décor from my other licensed partners. Everything showcased in the room is branded Barclay Butera product – florals, accessories, lighting, area rugs and textiles. It’s exciting to have a venue like this where I can create an entire lifestyle that reflects my design aesthetic so beautifully.”

Butera partnered with Lexington Home Brands to introduce two lifestyle collections that debuted at the October 2017 High Point Market. The Newport collection finds its inspiration in the relaxed yet sophisticated lifestyle of the coast, featuring seven custom finishes. The Brentwood collection, named for the sophisticated enclave in Beverly Hills, offers a chic interpretation of new traditional style, featuring black nickel stainless, textured silver leaf, ebony and a curated assortment of luxurious textiles.

Proceeds from the Showhouse event, which is open to the public 11 a.m.-5 p.m. through Labor Day, will benefit Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. Admission is $40 and includes the Showhouse Journal.
