Art Van Readies for East Peoria Grand Opening this Week

Art Van Furniture will celebrate the grand opening of its 15,000 square foot showroom in East Peoria, ILL., with a ribbon-cutting at noon on Thursday, July 12. Local dignitaries including City Administrator Jeffery Eder and City Commissioners John Kahl and Gary Densberger as well as several east Peoria Chamber of Commerce ambassadors are expected to attend.
On Saturday, July 14, the public is invited to tour the store as well to enjoy music, refreshments, giveaways, face painting and more, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Art Van Furniture in East Peoria signed a franchise agreement with husband and wife, Mike and Sheila Bruegge, whose family has been in the furniture business for five generations.
“With Mike and Sheila’s vast experience serving the community, East Peoria residents will enjoy a superb shopping experience,” said Ron Boire, president and CEO of Art Van Furniture. “We look forward to becoming the favorite destination for families looking to enhance and reinvent their living spaces.”
The new store features several of Art Van Furniture’s popular departments, including Art Van PureSleep, Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines, Cindy Crawford Home, and Urban. Store hours will be from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. 7 p.m. Sunday.
