The Company's 4,000-square-foot showroom, located in AmericasMart Building 1, 11th floor, F9 and F11, has been remodeled for the summer market to make it easier for retailers and designers to shop the company's assortment of accent, accessories, occasional and dining furniture. More than 600 items will be on display, compared to 300 at the winter show.
"To enhance our customers' shopping experience, we've added a few new walls and adjusted the flow from room to room," said Ron Cepulo, senior executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Bassett Mirror Company. "We were very pleased by the activity we generated at the January market, and having the ability to show an expanded range of product will give our retailers even more reasons to come in and see what's new."
In Atlanta, the company will show six of its style portfolios, including two new portfolios launched earlier this year -- Farmhouse Chic and Savoir Faire. Farmhouse Chic features an assortment of casual and country-influenced styles with painted and weathered finishes. Savoir Faire is a portfolio of traditional, antique-inspired French designs updated for today's lifestyles. Both portfolios have generated strong placements at retail, but Farmhouse Chic has done particularly well, according to Cepulo.
"Business has been challenging for a number of retailers, so in addition to these new items, we'll be offering special pricing on a number of our most-popular introductions from the April High Point Market to help stimulate sales," Cepulo said. "With the economy still in a growth mode, we're looking forward to a strong second half."
